Steny’s Lake Country is the newest chapter in a proud Wisconsin tradition that began in 1985, when Jerry Steny opened the original Steny’s Tavern in Milwaukee. What started as a small neighborhood bar quickly grew into a beloved destination—famous for its game day energy, award-winning Bloody Marys, chicken wings, large craft beer selection, shuttle service, and the kind of welcoming atmosphere that brings people together.

In June 2024, that legacy expanded with the opening of Steny’s Lake Country, owned and operated by Jerry’s son, Ryan Steny, and his wife, Brittney. Carrying forward the family name and the values that built the original, Ryan and Brittney have created a space that blends the best of Steny’s Milwaukee with a fresh Lake Country feel. Whether you're here for the big game, a casual night out, or a gathering with friends and family, Steny’s Lake Country is where tradition meets new memories—always with great drinks, great food, and even better company.
